Most of the astronomical formulae were derived from Astronomical Algorithms Second Edition by Jean Meeus. This second English edition was published in 1998.

There are some code snippets from Calendrical Calculations – The Ultimate Edition 4th Edition by Edward M. Reingold and Nachum Dershowitz published in 2018.
